glad i am not the only one that finds steve jobs annoying during these presentations.
Me want Archos 7 home tablet. It is nice to hear you guys talking about it.
Great podcast guys! You three are my favorite tech bloggers out there!
I was a little upset that Sascha’s connection got disconnected right as we was talking about the T101MT. I’m saving up my money to get that device as my next computer purchase but it was good to hear that its really a much faster device with a clean install.
I definitely agree with you guys on the vegetable tablet, its good to hear why you call it the vegetable computer jkk, I’ve been calling it the vegetable company now just because its funny, but now I really know more of why and its even a better name for their company.
The vegetable company talks a lot about how the ipad is something that bridges the gap between your smartphone and your laptop computer. But I think we already have a device that does that, the netbook. The ipad is a device between the netbook and the smartphone. I feel like the netbook has the perfect balance of power and portability, you get a little bit more portable and a little bit less powerful and its becomes a luxury device as then its more meeting wants than needs at that point.
Keep up the good work in your blogging guys!
oh and as someone who has researched a little bit the t101mt in the US the only versions I have seen for sale online have the N450, 1GB ram, 160HDD, and Windows 7 Starter. I don’t know why they ship with starter but they do. Hopefully many people bought a Windows 7 License when it first came out so they can upgrade.
I’m with NetLofty–I enjoy your podcasts (and live video reviews!) more than any others on the net, for many reasons:
1) Great intro music
2) Who else would soldier on through a dropped connection and a bloody nose?
3) The occasional dance by Chippy
4) Down-to-earth attitudes…you all seem to value being competent more than being hip or snarky
5) Obvious enjoyment of good beer
What’s not to like? I look forward to listening to the next installment. (I prefer watching/listening live–I appreciate your taking suggestions from the chat room–but the last episode began recording at 0430 in my time zone.) Nice work gentlemen.
Hi chippy, sascha and jkk,
great podcast again – still the best on the net.
I really like the intro/outtro music. Verry jazzy!
I like to know the title / artist. Could anybody help?
Cheers from frankfurt / germany
