Moblin2 and Wind River

Staying with Intel. Menlow continues as the XP platform

How about Pinetrail for netbooks and high-end UMPCs?
We didnt get GPU info although there are some rumors around.
Why? What will it bring? Is it a risk to move from the trusted platform?
Cost? Efficiency? Power? Video decoding.

Netbooks continued….

netbooks wave continue – a ton of new designs but nothing groundbreaking except….
Nvidia ION

Moblin 2 for netbooks

  1. Qualcomm and Freescale showed ARM Cortex A8 which processes browser stuff 3x faster than the Nvidia’s ARM11, though Nvidia might have better GPU acceleration so far. And Nvidia will soon do ARM Cortex A8 as well.
