First of all, JKK, Sascha and I would like to say thank-you to all the people that made it to the MeetMobility event in Hannover and to Conics and Mobilx for contributing towards it. Thanks also to Runcore for the T-shirts and to everyone else for the demos and discussions. It was a successful evening despite some of the negative discussion around the value of CeBIT for emerging products and markets.

Secondly, a big big sorry to all those that picked up on the meeting in the forums, registered their interest and then got pushed into a waiting list. We underestimated the response from the people we’ve worked with over the past year and ran out of space very quickly. For 2010, we’ve already identified a bigger venue and promise to make sure that we reserve space for the very important members of the mobile computing community.

JKK spent some time taking a few candid video shots which he’ll put together soon but in the meantime, here are a set of images from the evening. Note the very very interesting MiFi pocketable 3G router which was unanimously voted as gadget of the evening. Expect to see this within the next 8 weeks in Europe (Mobilx are working on a resale agreement with Novatell.) For more details, check out the video at JKKMobile
